Asea, Just A Bottle Of Salt Water or A Shot At Financial Independence?

So you might have heard of Asea, the relatively new Network Marketing company, you might also have wondered if Asea is a scam and just selling bottles of salt water!

Well first off there is a lot of backing from several top athletes that claim to have enhanced their performances by using Asea’s products, the company also claims their product is backed by 16 years of scientific research.

I’ve never tried the product myself so I won’t go casting aspersions. The product has reactive molecules in it and these are said to increase the effectiveness of the body’s immune system and natural anti oxidants, therefore allowing us to be more healthy and perform better.

You can get more information at the Asea website, it will be an interesting read! Be sure also to watch the videos there.

Either way you look at it there isnt really an Asea scam, there is a real produt here that is doing some good for some people!

My Asea review will be brief, but basically this company started off in 2009 and is gaining some momentum. It was founded by Verdis Norton and James Pack. Verdis took the idea to James who then whipped out his cheque book! Both men are very well experienced in the corporate business world, with Verdis having 30 years as a top player at Kraft Foods and James having built a very successful telecom consulting company!

You can find the Asea HQ at the foot of the beautiful Wasatch Mountains in the Salt Lake Valley, Utah.

How will you make some dosh with Asea?

They are pretty standard in that they operate a binary compensation plan, its well worth reading up on how this works. If you build your team correctly then it can be a very lucrative payout system! There are seven ways in total to earn, as follows…

  • Retail sales
  • Preferred customer bonus
  • Fast start bonus
  • Team commissions
  • Director’s bonus
  • Check match (very cool)
  • Leadership pool (also very cool, if you can get there)

So there are plenty of ways to earn money with this company, to get the full comp plan please visit their corporate website.

The company seems to be gaining some momentum, but they do have to overcome the hurdle of the products appearing to be essentially saltwater. Anyone getting involved really needs to be using the product themselves and actually gaining real benefits, in order to have any conviction about this opportunity.

So is there an Asea scam?

No! There is not. This is I believe a genuine network marketing company.

One of the biggest problems Asea distributors will face (as will any Network Marketer) is a lack of leads. For any business to REALLY take off you want to be getting 20-30 leads a day consistently. This way you will find ‘something good’ will happen in your business every week. This may be signups or commission payments of some kind. You also want to be generating a cash flow from as many of your leads as possible, even from those who DO NOT join your Asea business!

Get these two problems sorted and you are well on your way to financial freedom, which let’s face it, is why we are in Network Marketing in the first place!

So how can you generate 30+ leads a day for free whilst earning affiliate commissions regardless of wether people join your Asea MLM business or not?

I’ve put together an EXCLUSIVE free Asea training package for visitors to my blog, just simply enter your name and email below and learn how YOU can become a Top Earner in this industry…

I do not know, why so many people talk about Asea being a scam, if they have not tried it. It is not a scam. I do not want to end up in a old peoples home and I will not, because I use ASEA. In my job, I take care of old people. If you have not tried ASEA, you are not qualified to talk about it. You do not know, what you are talking about.

Asea found me at a time I was going thought heavy metal detox from amalgam fillings. Consciously, I have been active in supplements and nutrition for over 20 years. Asea like other products I have found work on a cellular level. What is great about Asea is the simplicity of administration. In order to give testimonials, you have to know your body, or have visible ailments for most people to believe the affects of such a product. The product is very gentle and subtle. Whilst talking with friends and family, who I recommended the product too, before I felt the effects fully, we have noticed changes and just how gentle they are. We are not familiar with talking about ourselves and our bodies, it can be very new for many of us. Asea is a product that I would be happy to recommend to anyone. Yes, it can be classed as expensive, what price do we place on our health, also, if that is the case, get paid to market your story of how you have found it. Scientific research evidence can block people for a while whilst they find this and that. Governments done just allow companies to work into their countries when you go down the road of Word of mouth marketing. This product is making a huge difference on my eyes, skin, weight, mood, sleep and hair, experience direct should be respected and not confused with academic research and proof seekers. The only proof with products such as with Asea, is in the pudding!

yo. £130 for one bottle……think someone is definately out to rip you off!!! It is no where near that much!
I have looked into ASEA and have done alot of research and yes there is one hell of alot of info about it on the net but very little independent study and research material. Most tends to be linked to ASEA themselves in one way or another.
That said …… why not give it a go. They offer an empty bottle refund policy which i have never seen offered before so they must have some belief in what it can do.
The bottom line is that this product is selling. People are buying and people are finding positives from it…..Placebo effect??? who knows, but people are feeling better after taking it.
Lets face facts folks, there will always be haters of everything in life……..you name it, people want to tear it apart.
Be open minded, make your own decisions, research it and run with instinct. So what if they are mormons, does that really matter?
What do some people need as proof to understand and believe in something….to some there is never enough evidence and a negative will always be found. Look at all the other crazy things that people believe in????? this actually has some visible results.

Who said £130 a bottle. Check the prices with the company. You do not have 25% tax as we have in Denmark. It may be for 1 month (4 bottles). Believe in what you feel, not in what other people say or on the internet for that matter

Asea looks like another scam. I’m so desperate to be pain free that I almost fell for it. I live in the united kingdom and nearly fell of my chair when I saw the price. £130 for 1 x bottle and is that right, you only get 8 servings per bottle?? It is disgusting for folk to make money out of misery. I hope the people selling this stuff suffer terrible health problems in the future.

You are correct Tony. Although it doesn’t just look like a scam – it is one! I am sorry for your pain. No substantiated testing or proof of anything… It is so incredibly sad and I feel bad for those who have been scammed by this. The following thread gives even more information (both sides) and is a good resource along with being a bit more cerebral than this forum:

Hi tony, after reading your comment regarding pain I suggest you check out http://www.jurassicmud.co.uk
This guy has developed a concept of mineral rich mud which you mix in a bowl with warm water and soak your feet in for 30 minutes. You can also apply it to specific areas. Iw works by absorbing into your skin and circulating around your blood stream remineralising all areas of your body.
I have used it for my parents for arthritis (however it claims to work on many other areas) and was amazed of the benefits. My mother also used it for psoriasis with great results.

Hope this helps with the pain :)

I do not believe that ASEA is that much more expensive in the UK than in Denmark. You do NOT have as much tax as we do. Yours is 17%, ours is 25 %. I believe that price stated is for 1 month (4 bottles). So try and contact someone in UK or I will try to find the price for UK.

I’ve been drinking this stuff for 8 months now, i was sceptical to begin with but the product blew me away, recovery from exercise was unbelievable, after 6 months I stopped taking it for a week to see if I felt different,I wasn’t sure how i felt until I started drinking it again, only to find it gave me another major kick……… it’s not a scam and most people involved in this country are reputable folk.

Beware ! The ASEA founders are Mormons. We all know ( except the Mormons themselves) that the LDS are champions of cover-up. I experienced and witnessed cover-ups when I was an active Mormon for several years.
I am sure that the best ASEA customers are Mormons and / or ASEA sales people.
Asea would have been one more “Inspiration from God” of Scoundrel Joseph Smith and a massive and frequent amount of brainwashing would have made ASEA a huge source of income for the Salt Lake Mafia.

Amen. You are correct Sara! This site claims to be objective but is far from it as are the many other copy cats out there. I have now spent days trying to be open minded and find the “real” benefits and patents behind this, and cannot find anything substantial, nor do people want to provide it. It really throws the red flag way up when they refuse to listen or give details while instead just throwing out conjecture, generalities, and rhetoric. Very frustrating, but I guess that is the answer… No one can do better and no one apparently wants to. Very sad and surprising for a group who seems so emotional and excited about this product.

“LOL” indeed… Yeah, right (wink, wink!) It is clear that if someone reads between the lines here you are with the company or at least exploring it. Like many of those within the company, you are probably too you much invested and close to the action to really see what is happening. That is okay though, we are quite sure you should be doing something like this – testing the waters and determining by feedback in a forum like this “before you actually dig in”. No worries… Well done ;-) – wink! wink!

Refusal to belly up research docs, takes 3-6 months to “take affect”, strangely challenging to find any of their “real” patents anywhere. Simply a load of bunk. Amazing how hype and marketing can sell and make the desperate leave their hard-earned money in exchange for hopes, a little salt water, and empty bank accounts. If you wish to silence the skeptics, provide the real scientific research and point to the patents. Otherwise, what is the use of just saying “LOL… any distributor want to comment?” Goodness, you are so close this whole thing with so much invested that you are unable to see how ridiculous it is. Absolutly amazing…

I agree with Kim. Why with such inexpensive ingredients is it so expensive? If it is doing so much good for people, why not make it affordable? I have MS and will still need to go spend tons of money on pills and doctors visits for my disease regardless of if this helps or not. It makes it hard to devote so much money to “salt water”. I keep hearing it does “great things”. Well, great! Let’s stop being so greedy and make it affordable then. So confused about this product.

I saw the seminar post on Craigslist. I was interested to go, but could not make it. If this really works, that would be a break-through product which is supposed to help hundred thousands of people and not for just a financial gain. However, the price is outrageous and not realistic for 32oz liquid. What about people who are in need of help but can’t afford to try it out. $49 for a registration fee and then $120 for a case of bottled water with discount. One bottle would last about 8-16 days. Go figure?

Let me first say, I AM ON ASEA. Secondly I have been diagnosed with 2 major disorders. Both of which could kill and almost did. After I got out of the hospital the first time a relative sent me some ASEA, told me to get on it. I did, I had nothing to loose the docs were grim and they really didn’t know if I was going to get the upper hand with this. 3 months later I am doing fantastically. The labs are undeniable and my body is fighting and winning. Is it kind of crazy to think salt water can do anything?

Yes. However this is not just go to the ocean salt water. It is sterile , and it has been restructured for the sole purpose of supporting redox signals. It took ten years of research to figure out how to sustain redox molecules outside of the body ( the only other place in the world they can be found) and keep them active for longer than 5 minutes. There are 28 patents on this and plenty of scientific documents supporting the research. the inventor wasn’t “joe healthy” he is an expert in the field of nuclear medicine. This is breakthrough science here. And the over 26,000 patients on this stuff are more than happy to go out on a lim and be first. They like me had a doctor ( not educated in redox signaling) tell them- there is nothing you can do- you may die- you chances are very low of recovery.

Can you imagine how crushing to the spirit that is? To think you life is literally in the hands of medications that may or may not work and a doctor who says you have no power at all. Them they want you to be positive and happy. It’s insane. I have been granted a miracle. To have someone love me enough to say “here try this, you have nothing to lose but your life”. And be open minded enough and desperate enough to find myself with a tool, armor if you will to fight the battle against a disease that wants to rob me of the right to see my grandchildren someday is nothing short of a miracle. Innovation happens when people look outside the box. A revolution happens when people live outside the box. Fight and win!

Going out on a “lim” here, to hazard a guess that you never finished the sixth grade. Patents are easily searchable via the U.S. Patent Office’s on-line database. Important medical discoveries are peer-reviewed in journals, whether that be electromagnetic, endocrinologically, or what-have-you. There is absolutely nothing available regarding this product or its biochemical constituents, patented, isolated or naturally occuring, nor is there any patents to be discovered regarding extraction practices, all of which would have needed to be filed. Now, had there been some verasity to any of these claims, 130 patents is quite an expensive undertaking. It is plausible that, at least initially they would have had to raise the price to recover some of their initial costs…
      BUT
no such patents or peer reviews have ever been found, nor will the promoters deign to provide a link when requested. A simple lab test, if you wish to assay one, will run maybe $120 and will no doubt reveal that this is unaltered sea water (and hopefully nothing more sinister, such a heavy metal contamination from careless extraction/shipping/storage methods)

Your cure is most likely anomolous, spontaneous remission combined with a powerful boost of placebo effect – in other words pure non-causative co-incidence. Placebo effect is one of the most powerful ” medicines” there is, having an efficacy of +\- 30%, while most patented allopathic medicines rate barely 3% above this. Add to this that diagnostic and test inaccuracies are rife in the medical industry, and voila! A cure!

I am a physician and researcher who has tested this product extensively. It is basically VERY EXPENSIVE salt water. That’s it. It may help relief symptoms of dehydration in a small % of people, but that’s about it. This is definitely NO magic bullet or cure and will NOT help most people. You will get the same effect mixing sodium chloride in filter water. We tested this cheap homemade solution and results were identical. Everything else is just marketing hype which is why MLM has such a bad reputation these days and can’t be trusted by the vast majority. Save your money and skip this one.

This product has some uses but in the form that it is in can be called liquid oxygen as that is what has been sold in health food stores and natural path stores for years. If you have health issues then you should take a good look at MMS since it is a proven product with new techniques and protocols being developed all the time and the costs are mere pennies compared to ASEA. This product is simply a water purifying agent similar to MMS but no where as effective. I am familiar with both products and their uses and chemistry..

I am a user of ASEA, and I love it! It has helped me tremendously with increasing energy, brain fog has lifted, balanced my moods, curbs my appetite, decreased my anxiety, and has given me more endurance for exercise. I also spray it on cuts, burns, scrapes, rashes, in eyes, ears, and nose and have noticed a faster healing response. I know this is not just salt water. I have tried many other nutritional products in the past and have never had a noticeable difference. It is redox signaling molecules that are communicators of our cells to detect, repair, and reproduce. It helps our body heal itself at the cellular level. A true health/science breakthrough. What I have noticed so far is everyone in this company have a heart and they are wanting to give people a better quality of life. Try ASEA and see what it does for you!

It would be interesting to know how they compare. Cellfood is awesome though. As for a brilliant mlm opportunity I am not so sure. My acupuncturist promotes Lifewave http://www.lifewave.com/tcmhealth and has not found anything that comes close as far as product or mlm opportunity is concerned.

I have been drinking Asea for eight months and I have not experienced any healthful effects — and four 32oz bottles cost $140.

Can someone post the links for scientific, double-blind studies that prove Asea has health benefits. I have never found these studies, but some must exist. If not, why not? Asea does have extensive documentation on the theory of how it might work — but a description is not proof; and testimonials are not proof.

At the moment, I feel that I have paid a lot for expensive salt water.

Glad to see a review on this amazing product. Have been very pleased with the results when used as a spray for the skin. Irritations are cleared quickly and the skin is left extra smooth when dry. Also have been keeping up to date on the latest news from the San Gabriel Valley, CA area. Most people aren’t used to the taste yet I find it to be a soothing or filling feeling in the upper body when drinking on an empty stomach. Good Post.
